~ 10/16/2007: Karen Schweigert testifies before the Sunshine Committee. Though her request is NOT reflected in their meeting minutes, she asked Committee members to place a Protect the Protectors bill on their agenda for the next meeting. WSPTA President Tommie Pillow also testified at this hearing. This issue was NOT placed on the agenda for future consideration.

~11/06/2007: Sunshine Committee Meeting Minutes. The Committee was unable to reach a consensus on the employment application issue and did not appear to place anything related to Protect the Protectors legislation on their agenda for futureconsideration.
